Pipi’s Simple Salty Almond Brittle with Opito Bay Natural sea salt

This recipe is so simple and so delicious. Great fun to make with kids in the school holidays.

Serves 4

3 ingredient Sea Salt almond brittle 

 

  • 3/4 cup almonds

  • 3/4 cup sugar 

  • Opito Bay Natural Sea Salt or Smoked Chilli Sea salt

 

Roughly chop the almonds. Then melt 1/2 a cup of the sugar in a nonstick pan (a saucepan works too) by stirring constantly over medium heat. Once fully melted and golden, remove from heat and stir in the almonds. Then add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar and several generous pinches of Opito Bay Natural Sea Salt mix till the almonds are coated and coming together. Transfer to baking paper and spread out allow to cool fully, then enjoy! If you want to spice up this recipe then substitute our Natural sea salt for Opito Bay smoked chilli sea salt.
